IPA received 200 first applications. Most of the applications were lodged by boat arrivals. Nevertheless, applications lodged by non-boat arrivals continue to be received on a constant basis. IPA also received 7 subsequent applications.

The majority of the applicants were lodged by adult male applicants, which confirms a long-standing trend. Fewer application were lodged by adult female and minor applicants.
